Before we aware that Abe Lincoln ran around killing vampires he was busy lending his likeness to beer cans…. Anywho- I’ve never heard of this brew till my friend stopped by with a 6 pack. Other than Surly (which in my mind sets the benchmark) I’ve never seen another canned IPA & I will admit it is damn tasty. At first crack you get the usual floral/hop aroma you’d expect however I didn’t expect how smooth this beer is. I am a big fan of the “bite” of an IPA & this one just seems to go down just a bit smoother. Brew Free does not disappoint & I can appreciate the breweries stance on eco-friendliness. According to their recyclable box-no plastic rings here- its only available in cans which “are recycled more frequently than bottles & are more efficient to package & ship”. So if your a fan of good beer I would recommend picking up your own sixer and checking them out on Facebook or at 21st-amendment.com.
